Domain Name Reservations - Parked Domains
VIS provides a means to reserve your chosen domain name, removing it from the pool
of available names, with it's Domain Reservation Account.
This simply means, we register your new domain name for you and host the processes
required, and point it to a directory on one of our servers until you are ready to
use it.
Domain Name Reservation/Parked Domain Account Includes:
- Domain Name Registration and hosting of your name server information
- 1 EMail Forwarding Account to receive inquiries while you prepare your site
- 1 “Splash Page” designed to let your future clientele know
where you can be reached, a summary of your company information, and a scanned
image of either your logo or business card for placement on the “Future
Web site of...” Designed by a qualified member of the VIS staff. *Splash page is optional and included free if limited to one screen full
of information and one image.
When you are ready for your virtual domain, please feel free to upgrade your service
to a regular hosting package with Virtual Isle Solutions or any host of your choice.

One year prepayment on reserved and/or parked domains is required. All monies paid,
less setup fees will be transferred to your upgraded package fees when account

Upon opening a VIS Hosting Account, we will handle the transfer, or rather moving
of your domain to our servers. This is typically a seamless process, but we do
recommend leaving your prior host account open for a few days of overlap during the
move. There is no charge for transferring a domain name, when hosting with VIS.
SubDomain Names, ie: laidback.virtual-isle.com and
divisionof.yourbusiness.com are
a great way to separate the divisions of your Company's Internet Presence. This is
an effective manner in which to keep everything organized under one main
domain name.
The amount of subdomain names available for a single 'domain' are endless
divisonof.yourbusiness.com). However,
duplicate subdomain names within the main domain (yourbusiness.com) are not
possible.
