Network Solutions, Inc. is the main domain authority (more commonly known as the "Internic" or "Nic".

Domains ending in .com .net .org and .edu are classified under the Internics authority. And incur a fee associated with the registration and ownership of new domains.

Domain registration fees are paid directly to Internic by the consumer or the "owner" of the domain name itself. Our fees cover the costs incurred and server configurations required to host your domain.

Domain fees payable to Network Solutions, Inc. are for the domain name itself. Internic fees are currently $35.00 per year with new domains being billed 2 years in advance. A total of $70.00 US will be billed to you by Network Solutions, Inc. and $35.00 per year, thereafter.

Virtual Isle Solutions is NOT responsible for Internic fees. It is advisable to pay your Internic invoice in a timely manner when it arrives within 30 days. If after 60 days you have not paid your invoice, your domain name will be returned to the available pool of names for anyone else to freely select.
